We're a small coffee roasting facility in the heart of Barre, VT (we have no storefront). We pride ourselves on small batch, fresh roasted coffee from origins all over the world. We started out in November of 1998 as Capitol Grounds Cafe & Roastery in Montpelier; which remains our main physical location. In March of 2017, Capitol Grounds coffee was branded as 802 Coffee. The same great coffee, from the same real people. We’ve grown, we’ve learned a tremendous amount about coffee beans, and life. As our roasting operation has matured we’ve developed relationships with farmers and importers that has opened our access to some of the finest coffees from around world.
